How does it work?
Laser hair removal works by emitting a laser beam that targets the melanin in hair follicles. The heat from the laser damages the follicle, which inhibits future hair growth. Multiple sessions are often required to achieve optimal results.
Candidates for Laser Hair Removal
Ideal candidates for laser hair removal are those with dark hair and light skin, although advances in technology have made it possible to treat a variety of skin and hair types. It may not be suitable for blonde, grey, or true red hair. A consultation is recommended to determine if this treatment is right for you.

Does laser hair removal hurt?
Most patients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure, often described as a snapping sensation. We have one Candela and one Lutronic laser, both of which use cryogen shot at the same time as the laser to cool the skin and help with discomfort. We have been using machines with cryogen cooling for over 20 years and believe it offers the best result for clients.
What are the primary benefits of laser hair removal?

How many treatments are required?
The number of treatments varies depending on the area being treated and individual hair growth patterns. Typically, 6-8 sessions are needed for the best results, with maintenance sessions as necessary. Purchasing a package of 6 or more sessions offers a 15% discount.
What is the post-treatment care?
Skin in the treated area may be red for 24 hours, but this can be managed with aloe vera. Avoid sun exposure in the treated areas for one week prior and post-treatment.
